American psychiatrist and philosopher (born 1944). Author of Life After Life (1975), the landmark study that coined the term ‘near-death experience’ (NDE). His interviews with over 150 people who had clinical death experiences established the foundational vocabulary for afterlife research.

American psychiatrist and successor to Ian Stevenson at the University of Virginia’s Division of Perceptual Studies. Author of Life Before Life (2005) and Return to Life (2013). Has documented over 2,500 cases of children claiming memories of previous lives.
